Where do I begin?

Posted on June 27, 2022April 21, 2025 by chefswifediary

Apart from working full time in the corporate world and settling into new motherhood life, I’m still thinking about running my own business. In fact, I’ve been thinking about it for a long time now —- to pursue something I love doing. Just because of changing circumstances and priorities, I had no choice but to put it on hold. Constantly, I procrastinate, “where do I begin?”

Inspired by many successful entrepreneurs, I am intrigued by the idea of legacy. I am probably not the only one who has started questioning about life purpose. Not saying I am Generation Z, but increasingly I find myself questioning everything I do. Maybe time is running short, why not venture into something meaningful? Gone are the days when money is the only price tag hooked on to what we do.

“And while salary is the most important factor in deciding on a job, Gen Z values salary less than every other generation.”

Deloitte

I am happy in my current corporate job. At least, it provides stability and security despite deep down I am still not entirely satisfied. I wanted more. Perhaps, that bold tigress dream I have has not roar to its full esteem. Live for a purpose, create a legacy, and make an impact. I know where I stand on this one. But, the million dollar question is not going away, where do I begin?
