Love me or hate me.

Posted on April 19, 2019November 18, 2021 by chefswifediary

A competitive world. Add social and political complexities into the equation, we’ll get people who adore us, and people who loathe us.

Far-fetching personal and professional goals are strenuous enough. Focus is all we need to get there. Yet, it’s not as straightforward as we anticipate. Just because of:

…the unwanted noises around us. The never-ending childish fuss that creates hurdles in our achievement journey.

…the small-minded people who couldn’t mind their own business, just so they could bring others down to make themselves look good.

…all the petty calculation of credits by people who could never really earn them, just to recentre focus to our weaknesses.

It is sad to see how pathetic and self-centred these people can be. Believing that their failures are outcome of others’ successes, not their doing. Instead of refining themselves, they put effort in blaming unfairness, complaining to win sides, and sneaking cunning thoughts to make others struggle so that they could look superior. Instead of celebrating others’ success, they let insecurity, bitterness, and desirous take the toll of them. Gradually, these negative thoughts became self-fulfilling prophecy for them.

That’s why we get people who love us, as much as people who hate us.

The truth is success comes from both bottoms-up hard work and risks we are willing to take along our journey. We go through them, we know them all. It is tough and it requires strong mind and some level of sacrifices to get there. There are no shortcuts. Given it can be mentally and physically challenging, the more we need to provide absolute undivided attention to succeed. In the end, success is a personal goal that we prove it for ourselves, not so much about the glamorous parade or intimidation we want to create on others. Of course, we all need a little pat on our shoulders sometimes. Still, it can always be discreetly done among small circle of acquaintances. The less intimidation we create for others, the less noise we are inviting. Stay humble for it has so much more positives to offer.

“Humility will open more doors than arrogance ever will.” – Zig Ziglar

It is in human nature that we all want to live a life that we are proud of. Proud in a way that enables us in spreading positivity to others. It all comes down to our positive intention and our ability to transform negative vibes to positive ones. We cannot control others thoughts, but we can control ours. The harder it gets, the more we learn.

Be fortunate that we have people who adore and support us. Be patient with people who don’t. Think of it this way.

Not that I am ignorant. Not that I don’t know. I just enjoy being a character animated in people’s mind. At least I matter. At least I rock your world. At least I am making you a better person.

“Love me or hate me, both are in my favour. If you love me, I will always be in your heart, and if you hate me, I will be in your mind.” – Qandeel Baloch

    Agree!
If you cannot support anyone or love anyone, atleast don’t humiliate and hate them..
